Last week we focused on the letter Mm. We made muffins to help us remember that M says /m/. We followed step by step directions and made lots of delicious mini muffins!
coming up this week: We will focus on the letter Tt. We will have a Teddy Bear Picnic on Friday. Students will need to bring a teddy bear to school on Thursday. Smile Day is also on Friday. This is our schoolwide PBIS reward for earning at least 64 Bulldog Bucks this 9 weeks!
This week we studied Community Helpers. We learned many important facts about Firefighters, Police Officers, Postmen, Doctors, Bakers and many others. We wrote facts about Firefighters in Writing this week. They turned out really great! We even got the paint out to paint a police car! At the end of the week, each student dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up!
We had firemen and a chef!
There were teachers, a football player, cheerleader and a basketball player.

What a great week! This week we are starting our Farm Unit! It is always so much fun and we learn lots of important facts about farm animals! We will be studying the letter M so we will make muffins. We will continue studying patterns in Math!
