Wednesday was World School Milk Day. Mrs. West, cafeteria manager had a few special visitors in the cafeteria for breakfast that morning. Our students had a coloring contest, we wore cute cow masks and made a cow. It was a fun day!
Carson won the coloring contest and received a free ice cream! Way to go Carson!
We celebrated Grandparent’s Day a couple of weeks ago and we had a great turn out! The students and teachers love when our Grandparents visit! While we were waiting on everyone to arrive we sang a few of our favorite songs. We did Dr. Jean’s Tooty Ta and the Grandparents even got into it!
Here are our sweet grandparents on their way to eat lunch!
The students got to enjoy lunch with their grandparents in the gym which was decorated with a fall theme. Grandparents had the opportunity to get pictures made and enter into a few raffle drawings for a PTO playground fundraiser!
Come visit again anytime! We love our Grandparents!
Hugs,
Mrs. J.
Here are our friends who made it to Back to School Night!
Last week we focused on the letter Mm so we read the story If You Give a Moose a Muffin and we made muffins. They were a tasty snack!
*Don’t forget that Monday night we have a Playground Fundraiser at Pizza Inn. You can eat in or carry out from 4:30-8:30 and if you mention Sherman Avenue our school gets a % from the earnings that night! Our playground is in bad shape. The fun tunnel that the children love to climb through has a large crack on the bottom so it will have to be removed. So let Pizza Inn do your cooking Monday night so we can get some new playground equipment!
**We also have Parent’s Night Out coming soon. Check your child’s folder for more information!
