The Little Red Hen

This week we started our unit on Farm and one of the student’s favorite books is The Little Red Hen.  We used a few props to help us retell the story.  They had the best time acting out the story!

We have also been working very hard in our Literacy Stations and small groups.  Students are working very hard on learning all the letters/sounds, sight words and some are even blending words.

Grandparents Day

We celebrated Grandparents Day last Tuesday in our classroom.  We had so many wonderful Grandparents attend our celebration.  The students entertained them with a big book they wrote and a few songs including the “Tooty Ta”!  The Grandparents even did it with us!  Thanks to all of the parents who sent food and served during the party.  Enjoy the pictures!
