Teddy Bear Picnic

On Friday we celebrated the letter T by having a Teddy Bear Picnic.  The students brought their teddy bears to school Thursday and the bears had a “slumber” party in our classroom.  When we arrived at school on Friday morning the bears had been playing in our centers and making a mess!  During Math we sorted our bears by their size, colors and if they were wearing clothes or not.

After special class we headed outside for our picnic.  The students enjoyed Teddy Grahams and Teddy Bear sandwiches while listening to Teddy Bear stories read to them by 3rd Grade GATES students.  We had a great time!

After our picnic our Teddy Bears were worn out!  We took a little rest with them.
