This week we started our unit on Farm and one of the student’s favorite books is The Little Red Hen. We used a few props to help us retell the story. They had the best time acting out the story!
We have also been working really hard at pointing to words as we read our pre-decodable readers. The students are getting the hang of it. Please help them do this at home when they are reading to you!
Coming Up:
We will study short vowel Aa and blend /a/-/m/ words.
New Sight Words: we go
We will wrap up positional words and move on to Patterns in Math.
We will study Apples next week. Please send your child’s favorite type of apple to school by Tuesday. We will use it for many activities throughout the week!
