Since President’s Day is Monday we did a mini unit on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The students really got excited to learn facts about these 2 past Presidents. We used our projector to find pictures of the White House on the internet. We also looked up The Lincoln Memorial and The Washington Monument.
After reading a few books about these 2 men, we listed facts that we learned. The students then made an Abe and a George and wrote 1 fact about each. We displayed these in the hallways!
