We celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday by learning all about apples. We made an art project and labeled the parts of an apple. All of the students brought in their favorite type of apple and we made a graph and analyzed the data. We also estimated how many seeds we thought were in one apple. Two students were very close! On Friday we read The Apple Pie Tree and followed a recipe to bake apple pies!
